Provider Self-Assessment

A key component of the risk-based approach to compliance monitoring activities is an annual online provider Self Assessment Tool (SAT). The SAT is an opportunity for providers to review their policies, procedures and systems to assist program compliance and to identify any areas where improvements are needed.

The 2021 SAT assisted providers to

  • check their compliance with the program changes implemented on 1 July 2021
  • check their readiness for the resumption of program requirements following the cessation of COVID-19 special arrangements on 31 December 2021, and
  • confirm they have reviewed the latest Compliance Update.

Completion of the SAT is a requirement under clause 16.8 of the Service Provider Contract.

2021 SAT

The 2021 SAT is now closed. The Compliance Team will review SAT responses and undertake follow-up with providers as required.

An Outcomes Report for the 2021 SAT will be published on this page soon.
