Provider Self-Assessment

A key component of the risk-based approach to compliance monitoring activities is an annual online provider Self Assessment Tool (SAT). The SAT is an opportunity for providers to review their policies, procedures and systems to assist program compliance and to identify any areas where improvements are needed.

Completion of the SAT is a requirement under clause 16.8 of the Service Provider Contract.

Providers are also encouraged to provide feedback about the SAT as part of the process.

2022 SAT

As notified to all providers by email on 10 October 2022, the 2022 SAT is now available on the Citizen Space website. The SAT will close at midnight on Sunday 11 December 2022 (AEDT). Providers will not be able to complete or submit a SAT after this time.

The SAT contains ‘Click here for …’ bars, which provide relevant information for each question on the SAT.

Providers should review the instructions and introduction on the SAT carefully. Please ensure that questions are read fully before an answer is given. Please contact hearing@health.gov.au if you are unsure of any questions.
