Updated Schedule of Fees 2019-20

This CSPN is to notify service providers of amendments to the Schedule of Fees and Manual Payment Items to take effect from 1 July 2019.
These amendments reflect annual adjustments in line with consumer price indexation and wage cost indexation.
The new Schedule of Fees and Manual Payment Items 2019-20 is available online through the Hearing Services website and the Hearing Services Online Portal under the Publications accordion of the landing page.
Where services span across the two financial years, please refer to transitional arrangements on page 1 of the attached Schedule of Fees 2019-20.
Client Maintenance Co-contributions
The client contribution to annual device maintenance will increase from $45.68 to $46.25. Cash transactions for annual device maintenance should be rounded to the nearest five cents - $46.25. All other service items not liable for GST will also be rounded to the nearest five cents.
Impact of New Program Legislation
New Hearing Services Program legislation is set to take effect from 1 October 2019. While there is likely to be amendments to the services and/or fees structure, to reduce business impact, the amounts specified in the 2019-20 Schedule of Fees will be retained for the full financial year.
