AUSkey to myGovID transition
(CSPN - 201918)
AUSkey to myGovID transition
From the end of March 2020, AUSkey will be replaced by myGovID for all government transactions. It offers a more flexible and secure way to access online government services. Work is going on behind the scenes to ensure health services, including the Hearing Services Program, can transition to myGovID authentication to access the Hearing Services Online portal when the AUSkey is decommissioned by the ATO on 31 March 2020.
- myGovID is a new way to prove your identity online, and Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM) allows you to link your myGovID to an ABN and manage who can act online for your business (for AUSkey administrators).
- myGovID and Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM) will soon be available for Health services.
- You can continue using your existing AUSkey to access health services until March 2020.
- In the meantime, be sure to keep your ABN details up-to-date to ensure a smooth transition. If you are an AUSkey administrator, check if other nominated individuals within your organisation are current and remove any accounts no longer required. Checking the Australian Business Register should take you less than five minutes.
- For more information about how to transition to myGovID, see https://tv.ato.gov.au/ato-tv/media?v=bd1bdiunw8unkp
You can get set up now but please note, you will not be able to use the myGovID to login to our portal until late January.
We will continue to keep you updated about the transition from AUSkey to myGovID and what you need to do via future CSPNs.
More information bout myGovID is available at https://www.mygovid.gov.au/
